Vendors in Get Listed: Assign the Roofer, Not Another Group Text
NEW IN GET LISTED
Your photographer was never the problem. The group text was.
KELLER, TX — Ask an agent how the photography gets scheduled and you'll hear the same story every time: three texts, one screenshot of a calendar, and a hopeful maybe.
Every listing runs on outside pros. The photographer, the stager, the inspector, the cleaner, the sign installer. Sometimes a roofer before photos. Sometimes title and escrow at the end.
None of them live in the software. They live in the agent's phone.
Which makes the agent the switchboard. Every did-they-confirm routes through you. Every schedule change routes through you. And when the seller asks who's coming to the house on Tuesday, you're answering from memory.
Vendors Get a Seat, Not a Group Text
Today, Get Listed adds vendors. A vendor is a real seat on your workspace: invite them by email, pick their trade, and assign them tasks on any listing.
- Photographer
- Stager
- Inspector
- Roofer
- Cleaner
- Sign installation
- Title / Escrow
Plus Other, for the trade nobody has come up with a name for yet.
The vendor signs in and sees exactly one thing: their own work.
What a Vendor Sees
One screen, called My Work, grouped by property — what do I owe on this house.
- The specific tasks assigned to them, with due dates
- The property each task belongs to, and where it sits in the launch
- Every brokerage they work with, in a single login
That's the whole view. No board. No portfolio. No listing they weren't assigned to. A vendor can't see the seller's name, the price, or the other twenty tasks. They see what they owe, they do it, and they check it off — with a name and a timestamp that lands on the listing's activity feed.
You stopped asking twice. They stopped guessing.
One Login, Every Brokerage
A good photographer doesn't work for one agent. They shoot for three brokerages, a team, and the solo agent who's about to become a team.
In Get Listed that's one login with many memberships. Each brokerage sends its own invite, the vendor accepts with the same email, and every team shows up at sign-in. My Work unions across all of them — one list, labeled by brokerage.
Each team's owner pays the vendor's seat, ten dollars a month, same as every other role. There's no free vendor tier, because a free seat has a way of becoming an unpaid responsibility.
The Directory Builds Itself
Every vendor on the workspace lands in a directory in settings — trade, company, phone, and the listings they're on.
Invite them once. Reassign them on every future listing without re-typing a phone number. Your vendor list stops living in a note called "guys".
Where It Fits
Vendors slot into the same continuous flow as everything else: signed listing agreement, live on MLS, sold. The tasks don't change — they just finally have owners who can see them. See how the flow works end to end, or check pricing.
